🇺🇸 Consulting from the USA

Online dental consultation from the USA

Video, audio or WhatsApp consultation with a Braces & Faces specialist in Delhi — second opinions, treatment planning and follow-up, at hours that work from ET / CT / PT.

American dental costs are the reason most US patients call us, but insurance is usually the reason they call us angry. Annual maximums around $1,500 do not survive a single implant, and the difference between a covered plan and the plan the dentist actually recommended is where most of our second-opinion work sits. A large share of our US enquiries come from Indian-origin families who travel to India regularly and want the treatment to fit the trip.

When American patients actually book

Best window: 08:00 – 10:00 Eastern, or 06:00 – 07:00 Pacific

IST runs 10:30 hours ahead of US Eastern and 13:30 ahead of Pacific, so the overlap is a real constraint rather than a detail. Our evening slots, 18:30 – 20:30 IST, land at 08:00 – 10:00 ET — before the American working day starts. West Coast patients usually take our latest slot, which is early morning Pacific.

Why patients in the USA call us

  • Your insurance maximum ran out in March and the plan needs another $9,000.
  • You want a specialist to read the CBCT rather than accept the treatment-coordinator's plan.
  • You travel to India to see family and would rather use the time than lose it.
  • You had treatment started here and need review without a 15-hour flight.

We see patients from New Jersey, New York, the Bay Area, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta, but where you are matters far less than what you send us beforehand.

The honest comparison

What the same treatment costs in the USA and in Delhi

US figures are indicative out-of-pocket ranges before insurance and vary widely by state and metro. Compare against your own treatment plan, and check what your annual maximum actually leaves you.

Planning the trip

How to make the visit worth the flight

01

Send the CBCT you already paid for

US patients almost always have recent imaging. Send it — a second scan is a second expense and rarely tells us anything the first did not.

02

Build the plan around your trip, not the reverse

Tell us the dates you already have. We will tell you honestly what fits inside them and what does not, including when the answer is that nothing does.

03

Take the documentation home

Radiographs, implant passport, crown specification and a written summary go with you, so a US dentist can take over routine care without guesswork.

When we will tell you not to travel

  • Do not schedule oral surgery within 72 hours of a long-haul flight.
  • If your insurance covers the work at home, use it. The saving disappears once flights are in the sum for anything short of implant or full-arch work.
  • Treatments needing frequent adjustment — fixed braces in particular — do not travel well.

A clinic that tells every overseas enquiry to fly out is selling flights, not dentistry. Read our full NRI consultation guide before you decide.

FAQs from the USA

What patients overseas ask first

Yes, and the time zones work better than people expect. Our evening slots at 18:30 – 20:30 IST are 08:00 – 10:00 US Eastern, so a video consultation fits before your working day. Pacific patients take our last slot, which is early morning on the West Coast.

On a single implant, the difference is usually several thousand dollars; on full-arch work it can run to tens of thousands, which is why that is where most travelling patients come from. On a crown or a filling, the airfare cancels the saving. We will tell you which side of that line your case falls on.

Yes — the systems used here are the same internationally-available ones, and you leave with the implant passport recording exactly what was placed. If a clinic will not tell you the brand and the batch, that is the warning sign, wherever it is.

Routine follow-up goes to your US dentist with the full records. Anything specific to our work is handled by video review, and we will speak directly to your dentist if that is the fastest way to sort it. What we cannot do is a chairside fix from 12,000 kilometres away, which is why we are conservative about who should travel at all.

Yes, though most of our overseas list is Indian-origin families visiting relatives. The consultation process is identical either way.
