🇨🇦 Consulting from Canada
Online dental consultation from Canada
Video, audio or WhatsApp consultation with a Braces & Faces specialist in Delhi — second opinions, treatment planning and follow-up, at hours that work from ET / MT / PT.
Canadian dental care sits almost entirely outside medicare, and the new federal plan does not reach most working households or cover the expensive end of dentistry at all. The Greater Toronto Area and the Lower Mainland also happen to hold two of the largest Indian-origin populations outside India, so a large share of our Canadian enquiries are from families who fly to Delhi anyway and want to use the trip properly.
When Canadian patients actually book
Best window: 08:00 – 10:00 Eastern, or 06:00 – 07:00 Pacific
Toronto and Brampton run 10:30 hours behind IST, so our 18:30 – 20:30 IST evening slots are 08:00 – 10:00 in Ontario. Vancouver and Surrey are 13:30 behind, which means our latest slot only — book that one early, it goes first.
Why patients in Canada call us
- Your employer plan caps out well below what an implant or a bridge costs.
- You want a specialist opinion on a quote before you commit five figures.
- You are in Delhi NCR for a few weeks a year and want treatment planned around it.
- You need review appointments for treatment already started here.
We see patients from Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Surrey, Calgary and Vancouver, but where you are matters far less than what you send us beforehand.
The honest comparison
What the same treatment costs in Canada and in Delhi
Canadian figures are indicative ranges around provincial fee guides and vary by province. Check your own plan's annual maximum before comparing — that number, not the sticker price, is usually what decides it.
| Treatment | Typical in Canada | Our written range, Delhi |
|---|---|---|
| Single dental implant | C$3,000 – C$5,500 all-in | ₹28,000 – ₹60,000 per implant |
| Crown / cap | C$1,100 – C$2,000 | ₹4,000 – ₹18,000 depending on material |
| Root canal (molar) | C$900 – C$1,600 | ₹4,500 – ₹11,000 including access and obturation |
| Clear aligners | C$4,000 – C$8,500 | ₹25,000 – ₹2,10,000 depending on complexity |
| Full-arch rehabilitation | C$20,000 – C$45,000 | ₹2,50,000 – ₹8,00,000 for full-arch rehabilitation |
Work out your own number with the dental cost calculator, then bring your existing quote to the consultation so we compare like with like.
Planning the trip
How to make the visit worth the flight
Start with the imaging you have
Send the panoramic or CBCT from your Canadian dentist. We would rather read it than repeat it.
Match the plan to your India dates
Most Canadian patients have a fixed three-to-six-week window. Tell us the window first and we will build the sequence around it, or tell you it does not fit.
Leave with transferable records
Radiographs, implant passport, materials list and a written summary — enough for any Canadian dentist to continue routine care.
When we will tell you not to travel
- Leave 48–72 hours between surgery and a long flight.
- For work your plan largely covers, staying in Canada is the better answer and we will say so.
- Fixed orthodontics needs review every few weeks — treat that at home.
A clinic that tells every overseas enquiry to fly out is selling flights, not dentistry. Read our full NRI consultation guide before you decide.
FAQs from Canada
What patients overseas ask first
Yes. From Toronto, Brampton or Mississauga our 18:30 – 20:30 IST slots land at 08:00 – 10:00 Eastern. From Surrey or Vancouver the overlap is narrower — our final slot of the day, early morning Pacific — so book those further ahead.
Considerably for implants, bridges and full-arch cases, which are exactly the treatments Canadian employer plans cap out on. For a filling or a cleaning, the flight makes the comparison meaningless.
Crowns and root canals: usually under a week. Implants: placement on one visit and the crown three to six months later, so most Canadian patients split it across two India trips. The consultation gives you the actual number for your case before you plan anything.
Routine follow-up is straightforward when they have the records, which is why you leave with all of them. Some dentists are wary of work done abroad in general — a documented implant system and a written plan removes most of that objection.
Often, and it is one of the more useful things we do — a video call with the patient in Delhi and the family member in Canada, so the person paying and the person being treated hear the same plan at the same time.
