🇬🇧 Consulting from the UK
Online dental consultation from the UK
Video, audio or WhatsApp consultation with a Braces & Faces specialist in Delhi — second opinions, treatment planning and follow-up, at hours that work from GMT / BST.
NHS dental access has been the running story in Britain for years, and the private alternative is priced accordingly. Most of the UK patients we speak to are not looking to fly out for a filling — they are checking a private quote for implants, a crown-heavy plan or aligners against what the same work costs in Delhi, and deciding whether it is worth folding into a trip they were already making.
When British patients actually book
Best window: 08:30 – 15:00 UK time
Our clinic runs 10:00 – 20:30 IST, which is 04:30 – 15:00 GMT. In practice UK patients book either a 09:00 UK slot before work or a lunchtime one; both land comfortably inside our afternoon.
Why patients in the UK call us
- You already have a quote from a UK private practice and want a specialist to read the OPG rather than the price list.
- You visit family in Delhi NCR anyway, and want the treatment sequenced into the dates you already have.
- You are on a two-year NHS waiting list for something that is not going to improve on its own.
- You started treatment in India and need review appointments without flying back.
We see patients from London, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester and Glasgow, but where you are matters far less than what you send us beforehand.
The honest comparison
What the same treatment costs in the UK and in Delhi
UK figures are indicative private-practice ranges as commonly published by British practices — check your own quote, not ours. The Delhi figures are the written ranges we quote, and they use the same implant systems and crown materials, not cheaper substitutes.
| Treatment | Typical in the UK | Our written range, Delhi |
|---|---|---|
| Single dental implant | £2,000 – £2,800 private | ₹28,000 – ₹60,000 per implant |
| Crown / cap | £500 – £1,000 private | ₹4,000 – ₹18,000 depending on material |
| Root canal (molar) | £500 – £1,100 private | ₹4,500 – ₹11,000 including access and obturation |
| Clear aligners | £2,500 – £5,000 | ₹25,000 – ₹2,10,000 depending on complexity |
| Full-arch rehabilitation | £12,000 – £25,000 | ₹2,50,000 – ₹8,00,000 for full-arch rehabilitation |
Work out your own number with the dental cost calculator, then bring your existing quote to the consultation so we compare like with like.
Planning the trip
How to make the visit worth the flight
Consult before you book flights
Send an OPG or CBCT if you have one — we would rather read your existing scan than sell you another. We will tell you how many days in India the plan actually needs before you commit to dates.
Allow for the healing gap
Implants are not a one-week job. Placement and final crown are usually separated by three to six months, which for most UK patients means two trips, or placement on one trip and the crown on the next.
Fly out with the records
You leave with the radiographs, the implant passport, the crown specification and a written summary — everything a UK dentist needs to take over routine care.
When we will tell you not to travel
- Do not book a flight for the day after oral surgery. Give it 48–72 hours before a long-haul flight.
- If a UK practice can do the work at a price you can absorb, that is the better answer — the follow-up is local. We will say so.
- Anything needing weekly review for months, such as fixed braces, is a poor fit for treatment abroad.
A clinic that tells every overseas enquiry to fly out is selling flights, not dentistry. Read our full NRI consultation guide before you decide.
FAQs from the UK
What patients overseas ask first
Yes. We run video and audio consultations daily, and the UK time difference is one of the easier ones — a 09:00 or lunchtime UK slot both fall inside our afternoon. Send photos and any existing X-rays over WhatsApp beforehand and the call is a real consultation rather than a booking chat.
Substantially, and the gap is largest exactly where UK private care hurts most: implants, full-arch work and crown-heavy plans. It is not because the materials are different — we use the same implant systems and zirconia. It is labour, rent and the absence of an insurance layer. For a single filling, the flight cancels the saving.
That is the question the online consultation exists to answer. Crowns and root canals are typically 3–7 days. Implants need placement and, months later, the crown — so most UK patients plan two visits, or place on one trip and restore on the next.
Routine follow-up goes to your UK dentist, and you fly home with the full records so they can take over cleanly. Anything specific to what we did is handled by video review with us, at no additional consultation charge during the treatment window.
Then take it. A second opinion that confirms your own dentist was right is still a useful second opinion, and we would rather tell you that on a video call than after you have booked flights.
